Palm Sunday at St Mary's and St Paul'sPalm Sunday at St Mary's and St Paul's

Sunday 13th April

St Mary’s are hosting the Diocesan Service of Healing and Reconciliation at 6.00pm. Parishioners are encouraged to attend in the evening after their Palm Sunday services for a time of spiritual renewal at the start of Holy Week.

Sunday Service at St Paul’s Lorrimore Square

9.30am

Join us for our Service to commemorate Jesus’s arrival in Jerusalem, a pivotal moment celebrated as Palm Sunday, when he arrives on a donkey, greeted by crowds waving palm branches marking his entry as a humble king as he fulfils the prophecy.

Our service of Eucharist and prayer will mark this moment together with readings and psalms. Join us for refreshments in the main hall afterwards.

Service of Reconciliation and Healing at St Mary’s Kennington

6.00pm

This will be a beautiful and reflective service of Passiontide hymns, sung evening prayer, a reflection and then an opportunity for those who want it to receive personal prayers of blessing and anointing for any illness or other issue causing unrest and to speak one to one to a priest for spiritual guidance or to make your confession. There will be a number of clergy there for people to go to. Those who don’t wish to receive these ministries can enjoy singing Passiontide hymns while they are happening.
