You’re warmly invited to a special Mass for the Feast of the Assumption at St George the Martyr
Friday 15 August at 12 noon
We’re expecting a joyful gathering of parishioners, visitors, and friends from across London.
Do join us as we give thanks for Mary, the God-bearer, nurturer of Christ and witness to resurrection. Together, we will celebrate the Feast of the Assumption by honouring the sacred collaboration between God and women in the unfolding of salvation history.
As a sign of that ongoing collaboration, we are delighted that all three sacred ministers at the altar, and our preacher, will be women.
Music will be led by singers from our new partnership with St Martin-in-the-Fields, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in the worshipping life of St George the Martyr.
After the service, Pimm’s will flow.
